Here we go, the show is back in Val di Fiemme!
The 19th edition of the Tour de Ski, the prestigious competition of the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup, took place in Val di Fiemme, the only location to have hosted every edition without interruption.
The races in Trentino unfolded from January 3 to 5: on Friday, January 3, with the Sprint in classic technique, on Saturday, January 4, with the 20 km Skiathlon (TC+TL), and finally, on Sunday, January 5, with the grand finale of the legendary Cermis Final Climb. This last event, a 10 km Mass Start in free technique, pushed athletes to their limits on the steep slopes of Alpe Cermis, delivering thrilling moments until the very last meter.
Nicknamed Monster Bakken by the Norwegians... after all, it’s not exactly normal to climb an alpine ski slope with cross-country skis on your feet!
Trust us, it’s a truly unmissable spectacle!
