As Title Sponsor of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup races, Coop Norway is committed to support the whole cross-country family. The company not only focuses on elite athletes but also places great importance on supporting children.
Most World Cup LOCs organize a races for kids as part of the FIS Cross-Country World Cup weekend. COOP Norway seizes this opportunity to promote youth races with a "Mini World Cup".
The goal is to make children feel like their idols, both in terms of sports and organization (a dedicated logo has even been created), providing participants with bibs and medals modeled after those of the World Cup. This enhancement in the visual aspect of the race aims to promote cross-country skiing among children, allowing them to have an unforgettable experience.In the coming years, together with Le Gruyère AOP, COOP Norway is committed to expanding the Mini World Cup to various destinations involved in FIS races, aiming to support young talents and promote World Cup weekends. The event is part of the FIS Snow Kidz project.
Saturday 4th January, at the Cross-Country Stadium in Lago di Tesero, takes place the promotional "gymkhana", an obstacle course. The start is individual, but it's just a game... the keyword is FUN!
The entry fee is € 5,00 to be paid by the bib & "race package" pick-up at the info point inside the stadium. At the Fiemme Party Tent will be served a Baby Menù, for a special price reserved to the participants.
All children born between 2013 and 2019 can partecipate.
