FEELING THE TOUR DE SKI FROM THE TRACKSIDE
exploring VAL DI FIEMME with numerous SIDE EVENTs
The magic of the Tour de Ski unfolds in Val di Fiemme from January 3 to 5.
On the trackside, stadium atmosphere and the thousand emotions of cross-country skiing
Sprint, Skiathlon and Final Climb enriched by a substantial surrounding of events for everyone
From the iconic ‘Tour del Gusto’ to the Fiemme Lounge, not forgetting the ‘Mini’ and the ‘Rampa’

It all begins in silence, slowly broken by timid sounds muffled by the snow: the first pairs of skis skating down the track, DJs and speakers tuning in their frequencies to begin the tale of a new page in sporting history, and then the arrival of the world's best athletes ready to fight to the last centimetre, and then in no time at all the volume is turned up and the 19th edition of the COOP FIS Tour de Ski in Val di Fiemme begins. From January 3 to 5, the tracks between the Cross-Country Stadium of Lago di Tesero and Alpe Cermis will come alive with the Sprint (CT), the Skiathlon (CT+FT) and the Final Climb (FT) in a concentrate of emotions to be experienced and ‘felt’ at the edge of the track, treating oneself to days of great sport enriched by the side events proposed by the organising committee Nordic Ski Val di Fiemme.

On Friday 3 and Saturday 4 there will be an authentic stadium atmosphere in Lago di Tesero, with local and foreign cross-country skiing fans who, in addition to cheering on the athletes from the edge of the track, will be able to go wild to the sound of music, before and after the races, in the company of the Satomi Hot Night pop band. Not only that, the heated and cosy Fiemme Party Tent will host the popular Nordic Après-Ski and Nordic After Party with live music by The Killibilly's and modern DJ sets by FUNLab.

Introducing a new generation to cross-country skis will be the Coop Mini World Cup, a fun gymkhana at the Cross-Country Stadium on Saturday January 4, which will provide fun for girls and boys on the snow and is organised in collaboration with Coop Norway and Coop Trentino. A bib and an official medal for each competitor will make the little cross-country skiers identify with their favourites, even though, unlike adults, competitive spirit is banned at the ‘Mini’ and all that counts is having fun! Online registration is open to those born between 2013 and 2019 and it will be possible to join on site at the Stadium Info Point too (registration fee €5 per participant). Those registered for the ‘Coop Mini World Cup’ can also have lunch at the Fiemme Party Tent at a special price, taking advantage of the special Baby Menu.

For those interested in experiencing the excitement of the Tour de Ski in an exclusive way, VIP tickets are available and will give access to the Fiemme Lounge Hospitality Areas of the Cross-Country Stadium of Lago di Tesero and the Alpe Cermis, where a buffet lunch with excellent local food and wine is served during the races and it is possible to enjoy the Tour's sporting show from an exclusive perspective, respectively with a view of the final straight of the Cross-Country Stadium and the finish of the Final Climb (info and prices online).

One of the most original proposals of the weekend is undoubtedly the ‘Tour del Gusto’, the iconic initiative capable of leaving indelible memories in the hearts and minds of those who experience it. On Sunday January 5, the fans crowded along the Olympia III track of Alpe Cermis will be busy cheering on the cross-country skiers taking part in the legendary Final Climb, and not only: on the trackside they will encounter stations set up by four local associations (Ziano Insieme, Fiemme Hockey, Krampus de Fiemme and U.S. Dolomitica), each offering a different delicacy. A unique way to experience the Final Climb, without forgetting that the fans will crowd the track from the morning to support the competitors of the ‘Rampa con i Campioni’ presented by Val di Fiemme Cassa Rurale (Open race in free technique that follows the route of the Final Climb).

The 2024/2025 World Cup took off last weekend from Ruka in Finland, and immediately the American Jessie Diggins and the Norwegian Harald Østberg Amundsen reconfirmed themselves at the top of the rankings, winning the 20 km that closed the first stage of the season. From the two athletes who last year became champions at the Tour de Ski in Val di Fiemme, comes a clear intention to reassert themselves in this intense sporting year.

In Val di Fiemme, the work in view of the 19th edition of the Tour de Ski is progressing with the organising committee led by Pietro De Godenz, who can rely on important partners and a cohesive and professional team of volunteers, who will ensure for the umpteenth time a great show for everyone.
